- အက်ဥ္းက်ခံေနရသည္႔ သားမ်ားႏွင္႔ ေတြ႔ဆံုေပးျပီးေနာက္ ႏိုဝင္ဘာလ( ၄) ရက္ေန႔တြင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသုိ႔ျပန္လည္ပုိ႔ေဆာင္ေပးခဲ႔ပါသည္၊
- အဆုိပါ အမႈ အားျပီးဆံုးသည္႔ အထိတရားဥပေဒအရအကူအညီေပးနိဳင္ရန္ႏွင္႔ အထူးစံုစမ္းေရးေကာ္မီတီအားေငြေၾကးအရေထာက္ပ႔ံကူညီေပးႏိုင္ရန္အတြက္ မိမိတို႔ အေနျဖင္႔ ေငြေၾကးေကာ္မီတီတစ္ခုကုိဖြဲ႔စည္းခဲ႔ပါသည္။
- အဆုိပါ ေငြေၾကးေကာ္မီတီတြင္ ရခုိင္အဖြဲ႔စည္းမ်ား မွ ကုိယ္စားလွယ္မ်ား၊ ေရြ႕ေျပာင္းအလုပ္သမားေရးေဆာင္ရြက္ေနသူမ်ား။ အစုိးရမဟုတ္သည္႔အဖြဲ႔စည္းမွဝန္ထမ္းမ်ား၊ ထုိင္းႏို္င္ငံတြင္ ပညာသင္ၾကားေနသည္႔ ေက်ာင္းသား၊ ေက်ာင္းသူမ်ားပါဝင္ပါသည္။

Statement:
On 15thSeptember 2014, two Myanmar migrant workers
were charged with the murder and rape of two British tourists, Hannah
Witheridge and David Miller. However, there is a widespread belief that the two
accused are being used as scapegoats in place of the real killers.
Following the charges, the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok founded a Special
Investigation Team to provide legal assistance to the migrant suspects. The Team
is comprised of prominent labor rights activists, academics, NGO workers, and
representatives from the Myanmar Embassy and is working closely with the
National Human Rights Commission of Thailand and Lawyers Council of Thailand
(LCT). On 22ndOctober
2014 the Team arranged for the parents of the two suspects to travel to
Thailand to meet with their sons, lawyers and other supporters.
Following their
visit to the prison where their sons are being held, the suspects’ parents returned
to Myanmar on 4thNovember 2014.
In order to fund
the provision of legal assistance for the two suspects, the Special
Investigation Team requires financial assistant. A group of Burmese individuals
living in Thailand first initiated a Finance Committee in order providesthe
Special Investigation Team with the financial assistance needed.
The Finance Committee
includes representatives from the Rakhinecommunity;labor rights activists, NGO
representatives and concerned students. All funds will be used with complete
transparency and clear accountability, safeguarded by an external auditor who
will be hired for all projects. Any additional suggestions are welcomed. The Financial Committee members are as

คำชี้แจง
ในวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2557 สองแรงงานข้ามชาติประเทศพม่าถูกตั้งข้อหาฆาตกรรมและข่มขืนสองนักท่องเที่ยวชาวอังกฤษ นางสาวฮันนาห์ วิคเตอเรีย และ นายเดวิด มิลเลอร์ แต่อย่างไรก็ตามมีความเชื่ออย่างกว้างขวางว่ากันว่าทั้งสองถูกจับเป็นแพะรับบาปแทนฆาตกรตัวจริง
จึงมอบหมายความรับผิดชอบดังต่อไปนี้ให้ สถานทูตพม่าในกรุงเทพฯก่อตั้งทีมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษเพื่อให้ความช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายที่จะอพยพผู้ต้องสงสัย
ทีมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษจะประกอบผู้ยื่นคำร้องสิทธิแรงงาน, นักวิชาการ, เจ้าหน้าที่องค์กรพัฒนาเอกชนและผู้แทนจากสถานทูตพม่าและทำงานอย่างใกล้ชิดกับคณะกรรมการสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งชาติและสภาทนายความแห่งประเทศไทย ในวันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2557
ทีมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษ จัดให้พ่อแม่ของทั้งสองผู้ต้องสงสัยเดินทางมาประเทศไทยเพื่อพบกับลูกชายของพวกเขา
พร้อมกับทนายความและผู้สนับสนุนอื่น ๆ ตามด้วยการเข้าเยี่ยมเยียนเรือนจำที่ลูกชายของเขาจะถูกจับขังไว้
หลังจานั้นพ่อแม่ของผู้ต้องสงสัยจะกลับพม่าในวันที่ 4 พฤศจิกายน 2557
ในกองทุนเพื่อให้ความช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายสำหรับสองผู้ต้องสงสัย ทีมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษจะต้องมีผู้ช่วยทางการเงิน จึงเป็นครั้งแรกที่ริเริ่มจัดตั้งคณะกรรมการด้านการเงินของกลุ่มบุคคลชาวพม่าที่อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย
เพื่อให้ความช่วยเหลือด้านการเงินในยามที่จำเป็นกับทีมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษ คณะกรรมการด้านการเงินรวมถึงผู้แทนจากชุมชนยะไข่ ผู้ร้องสิทธิแรงงาน
และรวมถึงผู้แทนองค์กรพัฒนาเอกชนและนักศึกษาที่เกี่ยวข้อง เงินทั้งหมดจะนำไปใช้ด้วยความโปร่งใสและความรับผิดชอบที่ชัดเจนและป้องกันโดยผู้สอบบัญชีที่จะว่าจ้างสำหรับตรวจสอบทุกโครงการ
